Since 2010 ACE dance and music has worked with The Affordable Fundraiser on a series of short term projects securing funds for staff, project work and the major capital redevelopment of the company’s office and dance studio facility, ACE Space.  The Affordable Fundraiser’s flexible service has enabled ACE dance and music to maximise the effectiveness of its fundraising – bringing vital skills and knowledge into the organisation when it is most needed.

In March 2014 Birmingham Royal Ballet recruited The Affordable Fundraiser to complete a vital Arts Council England application to secure funds for its ‘Nott Just Ballet’ community education programme.  With only two weeks to meet the deadline, James worked with staff at BRB and project partner organisation, The Renewal Trust, to complete the application, which was subsequently successful.

When Manchester Camerata began work with The Affordable Fundraiser in June 2011, they already had a strong track record in trusts and grants fundraising but were looking to expand the capacity of the team to allow development in other areas, as well as maximise their income from smaller trusts and foundations that they had not yet approached.  Working closely with Camerata staff, The Affordable Fundraiser brought both knowledge of who to approach, and ideas of how to structure and present the work needing funds, yielding a wealth of grants from both regular and new donors for over eight years.
